Gemini wins on capacity and price: a million-token window on paid plans and a $4.99 floor. The common reasons to look elsewhere are organizational, not intellectual: strictly linear chats, no working folders as of mid-2026, model versions swapping beneath capability labels, and a free tier cut to a 32K context.
