The canvas is free. The models are the upgrade.

Every plan, including Free, comes with a monthly amount of AI usage that refreshes each month. More capable models use it up faster. A meter in the app shows how much of the month’s usage is left.

Everything the canvas can do: unlimited workspaces, forks, merges, notes, and references, running on community models (fast open models like Gemma) with a small monthly usage allowance. The community models are served by third-party hosts that may retain conversations; premium models are not. Upgrading brings the premium models into the same workspaces.

Every paid plan can use every premium model: Claude, GPT, and Gemini alike. The Free plan runs on the community models; upgrading unlocks the rest. Between paid plans the only differences are included monthly usage and rate limits.

Nothing breaks and nothing is lost. You can add extra usage in a couple of clicks (it rolls over month to month and is valid for 12 months), upgrade, or wait for the monthly refresh. Your drafts and workspaces stay exactly where they are.

Annual plans are billed once a year at roughly two months off the monthly price. The included usage still refreshes every month; an annual plan is not a year of usage up front.

Yes. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing through Stripe’s billing portal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Afterwards your account moves to the Free plan: your workspaces stay yours, any added usage you bought keeps working on every model, and if you subscribe again everything is right where you left it.
